I have counseled and taught hundreds of women over the years as a Clinical Psychologist, Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Master Lecturer at the University of Southern California. 

Despite coming from highly diverse backgrounds, most of the women I’ve worked with had fraught, combative relationships with food and their bodies, and I used to be like them. 

I was constantly frustrated that my efforts to eat healthy and get fit always seemed to result in eventual weight gain and injuries. I didn’t trust myself around food, connected my dress size to my worth, and believed that weight was synonymous with health. 

I’ve witnessed countless other women blame themselves for diet failures, deny themselves satisfaction with food, and exercise their bodies as acts of punishment—often in pursuit of “health” as determined by their weight.

The reason that so many women feel embattled in their relationships with food and their bodies is that the diet industry has been lying to them for decades all in service of selling their “solution” – the diet.

Now, I’m on a mission to help women learn how to achieve true health and wellness using an intuitive approach to eating and exercise that will end the war with food and themselves for good.
